- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS -
What does D3 stand for?
Disciples making Disciples who make Disciples (Matthew 28:18-20)
Are you guys some type of cult?
Nope. Though our services have a modern and non-traditional feel, we are officially part of the Southern Baptist Convention and align specifically with the Acts29 Network Doctrinal Distinctives. Two very non-cult groups.
Do you have Sunday School?
No we don’t, however, we absolutely care about teaching the gospel to our young ones. In our D3 Kids environment, every week, we have classes in which children up to 5th grade can learn about Jesus while the adults are in the service.
What do you teach the kids on Sundays?
We go through a curriculum based on the “Jesus Storybook Bible.” It is a fantastic gospel-centered children’s Bible that teaches each biblical story in light of God’s ultimate plan for salvation in Christ.
What do I do if I want to get plugged in?
The first step to getting involved with D3 is to attend a monthly Pastors Coffee meeting. Head on over to our Pastors Coffee page to get information on attending our next one.
Where are you located?
We are at 403 Hanson St, on the corner of Hanson and 4th Street. One block up from Winnemucca Blvd.
What is a Community Group?
A Community Group is a small gathering of about 7-12 people that we use to “do life” together during the week. We are a church that cares about being in community with one another, and we use our Community Groups, which meet in homes at different times during the week, to discuss the sermon ideas more in-depth, to stay up to date on what’s going on, and to grow closer to Christ and each other.
